Get a jump start on the summer swim season by joining Poseidon’s professional coaching staff for FREE indoor swim sessions which will focus on improving your racing skills and techniques including strokes, starts and turns.
Participation is FREE but reservations are required. Space is limited so sign up now by sending an e-mail to PSDNSplashDown@gmail.com that provides the name of the swimmer, age and the session or sessions he or she wishes to attend. Come prepared to swim and have fun!
Starts and Turns
- Saturday, April 28, 2012 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.
Freestyle and Back Strokes
- Sunday, May 6, 2012 from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.
Breast and Butterfly Strokes
- Saturday, May 19, 2012 from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m.
All sessions are offered at the Collegiate School Aquatics Center (5050 Ridgedale Parkway, Richmond, VA 23234) which is the new, year round Home of Poseidon Swimming. Richmond Metro Aquatics League (RMAL) and Chesterfield Aquatics League (CAL) summer league championship meets will be held at this pool!

CROCS! 2012 Swim Team registration dates will be held on Saturday, April 21st from 9:00 a.m. until 3 p.m. and again on Thursday, April 28th from 6:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at the Charter House (by the pool).
Disco Sports will be available on Saturday, April 21st ONLY so that swimmers may try on and purchase team suits if necessary. Please note, we are keeping our same style suit from last year. Disco will also have practice suits, goggles and other items for sale at that time.
Fees for swim team are $85 for your family’s first swimmer. Additional swimmers from the same household are $75.00 each, and Senior Swimmers (ages 15 – 18) are only $25.00.
For families unable to attend the April 21st or April 28th dates, registration documents may be downloaded from this site, completed, and brought to the Charter House along with payment at any time. Please wait until after registration dates have concluded so that these documents may be updated online.
Our season will start the Tuesday after Memorial Day (May 29th) after school and continue through the summer with morning, afternoon and Saturday practice times available until our last meet on Monday, July 16th. RMAL Champs will be held on Monday, July 23rd and Tuesday, July 24th.
